So my concept focuses on a sympathetic response to what I see as a mirror between Chinese traditional monsters and modern society. These supernatural monsters have different unique appearances and birthplaces, just like human society. In this Chinese myth, more than 400 different types of monster are discussed and each monster has their own character and habits. The traditional Chinese story “Shan Hai Jing” (the Classic of Mountains and Seas) is a classic text and compilation of geography and myth. But some typical behaviors were coming follow the people’s communication, such as lying, cheating or anger. With the development of society, people become more and more crave to expressing their emotion in the communication, such as hope other people to understand himself.
